Nate Salley (born February 5, 1984 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida) is an American football safety for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League. He was originally drafted by the Panthers in the fourth round of the 2006 NFL Draft. Heplayed college football at Ohio State.

Early years

He was a two sport star at St.Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, the same high school attended by NFL stars Michael Irvin and Brian Piccolo. Salley was a member both the football and basketball state championship teams at St. Thomas Aquinas before graduating in 2002.
